親愛的弟兄姊妹平安:
「你的王來到你這裏，祂是公義的，並且施行拯救，謙謙和和的騎著驢，就是騎著驢的駒子 。」(亞9:9)
一些教會把復活主日的前一個主日，定為棕樹節主日，以記念耶穌基督在受難週的第一日，以彌賽亞君王之尊，騎著驢駒進入耶路撒冷。
耶穌是萬王之王，但祂不是以武力和強權壓廹祂的子民。馬匹是用來作戰的，白馬、紅馬、黑馬、灰馬給大地帶來戰爭，殺戮，饑荒和死亡。驢駒來了，是要謙謙和和地服侍眾人。祂是彌賽亞，祂來了，是要叫人得生命，並且得的更豐盛。人子來，不是要受人的服侍，乃是要服侍人，並且要捨命，作多人的贖價。 祂的愛，是犧牲的愛，是從天上而來的權柄，甘心情願地付出，而不是無可奈何的屈服。
祂是行公義的。基督耶穌降世，為要拯救罪人。神的愛是公義的愛，不是縱容的愛；祂的愛是聖潔的愛，不是放任的寵愛；祂的愛是信實的愛，不是違背真理的溺愛。祂要嚴懲人所犯的罪，卻深愛犯了罪的人。當我們來到神的跟前，承認我們所犯的罪，神是信實的、是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。
天災、人禍，生靈塗炭 … 這稱為平安之城的耶路撒冷，本是神祝福的地方; 但因著愚昧、任性、悖逆，人失去了從神而來的平安。平安之城，不再平安。
我們是在什麼時候認識耶穌基督是大衛的子孫，奉主名來的是應當稱頌的? 若是我們今日「閉口不說，這些石頭必要呼叫起來！」

Dear brothers and sisters,
‘Your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’ (Zech 9:9)
Some churches set the Sunday before the Easter Sunday as the Palm Sunday, in memory of Jesus Christ entering Jerusalem on a colt as the Messiah on the first day of the Passion Week.
Jesus is the King of Kings, but He does not suppress His people with force and power. Horses are used to fight. The white horse, red horse, black horse, and grey horse bring war, killing, famine and death to the land. The colt has come lowly to serve the people. He is the Messiah, He has come that they may have life, and have it to the full. The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. His love is a sacrificial love, it’s an authority from heaven.
He acts justly. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. God’s love is righteous, holy and faithful; it’s not indulgent not violating the truth. He punishes people for their sins, but he loves sinners. When we come before the Lord and confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Natural or man-made disasters, devastated lives … Jerusalem, the City of Peace, is originally a place blessed by God; but due to ignorance, willfulness and disobedience, people have lost the peace from God. The City of Peace is on longer peaceful.
When did we know that Jesus Christ is the Son of David, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord? If we ‘keep quiet, the stones will cry out!’
