弟兄姊妹平安，
教會把每年的12月定為聖誕感恩月，這是以前英文部羅牧師給教會的建議，並傳承了下來。有些教會為主耶穌的降生而設立「將臨期」的節令，為預備信徒的身心靈，以迎接和記念救主耶穌基督道成肉身，救贖萬民。
「基督耶穌降世，為要拯救罪人。這話是可信的、是十分可佩服的…」(提前1:15) 耶穌基督是神賜給世人最大的恩典，而我們記念救主降生的最好方式，就是傳揚耶穌基督的福音，就是我們的親友靈魂得救。
12月25 日的聖誕日崇拜，我們將聚在一起，在實體的禮堂，在雲端的網絡，見證重生得救的人在眾人面前講述信主的歷程，並藉著「從水而上」宣告得救的喜悅。讓我們一同為四位姊妹感恩和守望。
對於很多廣東話部的新肢體，這是你們在英國的第一個聖誕節，你們可有什麼期盼？「白色聖誕」? 那要北上蘇格蘭才有把握達成願望。但願疫情早日減退，新舊朋友，能更自由的聚在一起團契，享受初期教會的生活。
「…天天同心合意恆切的在殿裏，且在家中擘餅，存着歡喜誠實的心用飯，讚美神，得眾民的喜愛。主將得救的人，天天加給他們。」(徒2:46-47)
這是天使宣佈的佳音:「在至高之處榮耀歸與神！在地上平安歸與他所喜悅的人！」(路2:14)

Dear brothers and sisters,
Our church has set December as Christmas Thanksgiving Month. This tradition was introduced by Pastor Lo, the previous Pastor of the English congregation. Some churches observe the Advent to prepare believers to greet and remember the incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ who has come to redeem all peoples.
‘Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners…’ (1Tim 1:15) Jesus Christ is the greatest grace God gives us, and the best way to remember the birth of the Saviour is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and that our relatives and friends are saved.
On Christmas Day, we will gather together in church or online to witness the baptism of 4 sisters. They will testify and share with us their faith and joy in front of everyone. Let us remember them and thank the Lord for them.
This is the first Christmas in the UK for many new friends in the Cantonese congregation. What are your expectations? White Christmas? Then you probably have to go to Scotland. Hope that the pandemic will subside soon, so that old and new friends can gather together more freely for fellowship and enjoy the life of the early church.
‘Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.’ (Acts 2:46-47)
‘The angels proclaimed, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.’ (Luke 2:14)
