Dear brothers and sisters,
The New school year has started in September. Little children step into the nursery shyly, Year 7 students start High school, Year 13 students leave their homes and go to the Unis, Graduates officially enter the society. Every experience is a precious and wonderful journey of our life. All the highs and lows help every student grow up physically, mentally and spiritually.

When Jesus was 12, he went to the Royal City Jerusalem from the little village Nazareth. He stayed in the Temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions, and his parents anxiously searched for him. Jesus said, ‘Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?’
Every student has to walk through different stages of life. Facing an unknown tomorrow, who can they turn to? Where can they seek help? Their families, for sure. As a church, we are also there to support them: Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
On the way to grow into maturity, we must be humble and learn to deal with many unknowns in life. We must listen and ask. We have to throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith with perseverance, so that we can strengthen our feeble arms and weak knees and run the race.
September, when summer is fading and autumn arriving, we can see the most beautiful scenery of the UK country parks. Whether sunny or drizzling or cloudy, we can grab the opportunity to understand life: I don’t know about tomorrow, but I know who holds my hands!
Wishing you joy, health and peace.
In Him,
Sam Wong
