弟兄姊妹平安：
還有14日，便是紀念主耶穌基督被釘十字架的「受苦紀念日」！
保羅的海外佈道行程，走在羅馬帝國的不同地域，大聲地宣告：我不知道別的，只知道耶穌基督並他釘十字架。
十字架的道理，於我們信徒而言，是福音的大能，又是生命的奧秘。當主耶穌發出呼召：「來跟從我!」，在我們決志信靠主、跟隨主的那一刻，我們不單是放下地上的網、捨去海上的船；更是願意一生捨己，天天背着自己十字架，走在各各他山的道路，跟從主！
賈艾梅姊妹告訴我們：若我的「己」管轄了我，若我所有的思想都環繞著「己」旋轉；若我的「己」佔領了我整個人，以至我的心靈難得有一刻脫離自己，那我就還是絲毫不懂加略山的愛。
邊雲波弟兄寫著：「是的！是我們自己的手放下了世上的享受，是我們的自由甘心到苦難的道路上來奔走！遙望着各各他山，就是至死也永不退後。」
時值第二次世界大戰，德國的潘霍華牧師以生命見證：「當基督呼召一個人，無論如何都要跟隨到底，就算死，也要跟從耶穌。」任何一個蒙召的基督徒，都能視死如歸。
「受苦紀念日」被稱為「Good Friday」，何Good 之有？接受自己被釘在十字架上，這是何等愚昧的決定，又是多麼軟弱的回應?！
人有一生，必有一死。為自己生，為自己死，這生老病死的歷程，苦不堪言！我們為主而生、為主而死，與主同生、與主同死，在生老病死中，盡是神的恩情。基督耶穌被釘十字架，我們就得了生命，並且得的更豐盛。在基督耶穌裏，祂是我們的智慧、公義、聖潔和救贖，我們大有益處，或生或死，總是主的人。
4月15日星期五（受苦日）10:45am分別有廣東話和普通話的受苦節主餐崇拜，7:30pm有英文部的主餐崇拜。
還有14日，是紀念主耶穌為我們被釘十字架的日子，我們準備好了嗎？走在每天的道路上，讓我們更深刻地認識主，更親切地愛慕主，更緊緊地跟隨主，每一日！

Dear brothers and sisters,
‘Good Friday’ will be in 14 days, commemorating the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ!
On Paul’s overseas missionary trips, he walked around the Roman Empire and declared loudly, ‘I know nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.’
The message of the cross, for us believers, is the power of the gospel and mystery of life. When the Lord Jesus called us, “Follow me”, the moment we decided to trust and follow the Lord, we not only let go of the nets and abandoned the boats, but deny ourselves on carrying our own cross to follow the Lord on the road of Calvary!
Amy Carmichael said, ‘If I myself dominate myself, if my thoughts revolve round myself; if I am so occupied with myself I rarely have “a heart at leisure from itself,” then I know nothing of Calvary love.’
Brother Bian Yunbo wrote: “Yes! It is our own hands that let go of the enjoyment of the world, and it is our freedom that we are willing to run on the road of suffering! Looking at Calvary in the distance, there’s no turning back until we die.”
During World War II, Pastor Bonhoeffer of Germany testified with his life: “When Christ calls a person, he must follow Him to the end no matter what, even if he dies, he must follow Jesus.” Any Christian who is called can take death calmly.
What is Good on “Good Friday”? Isn’t it a foolish decision and what a show of weakness to be crucified on the cross?!
People live and die. They live for themselves and die for themselves, walking through the journey of life, getting old, sickness and death is so miserable! If we live for the Lord and die for the Lord, live with the Lord and die with the Lord, our lives are full of the grace of God. Christ Jesus was crucified so that we may have life, and have it to the full. In Christ Jesus, who has become for us our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, for our good, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
On 15/4 Good Friday, there will be Holy Communion Services in Cantonese and Putonghua at 10:45am, and the English Service at 7:30pm.
And in 14 days, the day to remember the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus, are we ready? May we know the Lord more clearly, love the Lord more dearly, and follow the Lord more nearly, day by day.
